Design

Simplicity and quality, the two key concepts behind the architecture of MyGoi Beach Resort are used to express the location’s calm ambience.

The architecture of MyGoi Beach Resort aims to be contemporary, sustainable and contextually sensitive in line with international standards whilst remaining rich in local flavor.

Simplicity

In an increasing chaotic world, we want to create a place where we can retreat, find inner peace and recharge our minds. Therefore, the architecture has to be simple. The cubical forms, the choice of natural materials and the repetitive elements all contribute towards creating a sense of order. It is from this order that we are able to focus and reconnect with the surrounding natural environment.

Quality

For the design of the resort, we have embraced the idea that luxury does not come from having expensive finishes. It is expressed through the simple spatial qualities of the living spaces where the boundary between the interior and exterior are blurred. It is also expressed through the careful selection of natural materials. This minimalist approach means one can focus on the comfort and laid-back lifestyle qualities on offer at the resort.

Award-winning, experienced seniors guide the fresh enthusiasm of dynamic newcomers while collaborative efforts with clients and fellow consultants provide two-way insight.

Focused on design democracy, the studio specifically works at not developing a signature style. Instead, each project is encouraged to develop its own direction, criteria and parameters.
